We will definitely use the marina's friendly expertise again!
We’re extremely pleased with the work that was completed on our motor yacht, the marina offers professional and affordable craftsmanship for both woodwork and fabrics. The highly skilled technical team are very helpful and were keen to meet our specific requests for the Passarella. The woodwork was entirely renewed based on the metal structure that already existed and the complex project proved the high level of craftsmanship available at the marina. They were also able to restore the tender boat protective cover and cushion fabrics to achieve a brand-new look.

We do not hesitate in recommending Karpaz Gate Marina to other boat owners!
We are originally from south Sweden and have been sailing since 1965. We have an apartment in Essentepe, Cyprus, so, when we bought Polaris in 2013 from Turkey, I enquired about berthing at Karpaz Gate Marina following a recommendation from my neighbour. We are delighted with our decision, as we have found we like everything about the marina, and also enjoy North Cyprus and the Karpaz region. We like sailing in the surrounding area, and also spend time exploring inland. Compared to berthing in Sweden, it is much less expensive, and of course the weather is much better!

You will be welcomed at the reception area, staff ready to get you settled in, explain the marina lay-out and facilities, answer questions, offer advice about excursions and local sites, arrange hire cars or marina transportation to the nearby village of Yenierenkoy. Unlike many other large Med marinas, you are not just an anonymous boat owner. With around 300 berths, Karpaz Gate Marina is small enough to guarantee personal service, so expect to be greeted by name by the marina team, to get to know fellow boat owners and become part of the community. Another benefit is that all customs and passport checks are completed on-site as the marina is a Port of Entry.Using Karpaz Gate Marina as our cruising base, we discovered Turkey’s Turquoise coast, checking into Finike before day sailing west along the Turkish coast as far as Bodrum, exploring the Aegean, before returning to TRNC.The basics are all spot on – it is clean, well laid out and maintained, safe, secure and well-designed. But it is the details which will ensure Karpaz Gate Marina wins a place in your heart. The level of attention and service, the special touches, the unique location and the team of staff all combine to ensure the marina impresses as an option which is above and beyond the norm.
